A - You need a free space between the tension
hooks of 39 - 48 mm (1
35/64 - 1 57/64").
B - The height from the bottom of the head's
mounting band to the upper edge of the
tension hoop should not exceed 22 mm
(7/8"). |
C - You need 4,5 mm (3/16") space between tension hook and the tone
ring.
D - You need 5,5 mm (7/32") space under the
mounting band.
TOP TENSION BANJOS
NOTE! The 5th String Conversion Kit will not
fit top tension banjos! The bulges on the hoop will interfere
with the tuning peg. The regular Sterner tailpiece will fit
though. |
